Their breakfast hash combinations are available in vegan-friendly versions (tofu and/or avocado replace eggs) and options are clearly marked. The also have coffee. The dining room is small and cozy.
This is a wonderful little vegetarian (almost entirely vegan) Mexican restaurant and juice bar. There's a huge selection and their mock meats are amazing. The super burrito is huge, it will take at least two people to eat it in one sitting. I've been known to get three or four meals out of one super burrito. They also have great desserts, like vegan tres leches cake.
Closed Friday sundown until Saturday sundown.
Pick Me Up is the only place I know of that offers vegan milkshakes with alcohol in them into the wee hours of the morning. 'Nuff said.
They don't have a website of their own, but the Yelp reviews are pretty entertaining.
Located right where the Red and Brown lines split. The menu has many wonderful, clearly-marked vegan options.
This place is kind of weird, because it's a coffee shop and community space that also serve as a big huge advertisement for State Farm Insurance. That can be a little off-putting at first, but the coffee is great, the baristas are super nice, and there are almost always some great vegan options in the pastry case, frequently including vegan donuts from Fritz.
They go out of their way to make it friendly to the laptop-toting crowd, so if you want to work on your novel or your Ruby app or whatever, this is the place.
